The Best Solar Panels
Solar energy has become one of the most important renewable energy, and in fact we ourselves not only have her in cars or appliances running on this energy, but also can take home with solar panels we can settle ourselves and that will take full advantage of sunlight and thus not having to use electricity, so we need to know what is the best or most suitable for our needs.
There are two types of solar panels and photovoltaic panels that are traditional, they are perhaps best known, and layer panels fina.La difference between the two, or indeed what everyone knows about them is that the PV can be installed in the ground or on poles or roof and also its size is quite considerable.En the case of thin film, which in fact are also photovoltaic, I must say they are much thinner, which are installed with relative ease in a roof or on a deck, for example, and that many people are much more aesthetic, or to put it somewhat more attractive.
Photovoltaic solar panel, and surely you have seen on the top of buildings or in large fields, are able to collect their energy from sunlight and through the use of a silicone and other materials that allow you to store such energy, its very good when the sun is shining, that is, they bring a lot of energy but not when the sun sets, so you have a storage system that allows us to have stored energy, similar to what making the margin baterías.Al a clear difference between the thickness, or the way they are installed, it must be said that the solar panels are photovoltaic or thin film, are both quite expensive to install (the thin layer a little more), and although we probably will not reach the budget, we must keep in mind that eventually will be an investment of future. You can now spend much money on settling panels on our deck, but think all the money in the long run and over the years, you'll be saving on conventional electricity.
This type of solar panels also "suck" energy from the sun, although many people are still better, simply because they are much thinner, and indeed are able to give us lots energy. The panels are of a very thin film, are made from a material that is lightweight and flexible. A material which allows very thin layers and that is reactive making avoid the necessity of thick layers of other panels.Es why repeat, are better for many people, but can be placed on the soil or tile deck or a roof and without any support.

Institute of Technology of Tokyo Reveals its New Building Entirely Covered With Solar Panels
The Institute of technology of Tokyo has done exactly what none of us can digest; they have built a new building, which is entirely covered in solar installations. The aerial view of the building makes it seem waterproof and quite unusual, but is not the aspect, is the technology that makes thinking.
The University of Tokyo reveals building covered with solar panel
Institute of technology of Tokyo is considered a prestigious University in the world and in fact the best in Japan. The revelation of his car sustaining building has improved his image for the eco-minded community. The exterior of the environment and promotion of innovation of energy including the roof is covered with panels of 4500. These panels have a total production capacity of 650 kilowatts of power, which is also supplemented by 100 kW fuel cell.
A question that strikes the mind is what tangible difference has this facility in the power generation capacity of the building? The answer is simple; the building has seven floors and two additional levels of basement and is due to the solar panels which consumes half of the power that would have consumed a building of the same size without solar installations.

Incredible solar panels made with grass!
They realized that nothing in nature absorbs energy as well as plants, by what have developed a solar technology that combines a small amount of grass (or other agricultural waste), a powder of stabilization of oxide of zinc and titanium oxide, and a glass or metal as substrates, all of which can imitate the process of photosynthesis.
The goal might seem an illusion, though - we fervently – hope can do reality: develop a technology so simple that anyone can make their own solar panels and for almost no money.
MIT researchers have figured out how to stabilize a photosystem I (E F) chemically (the internal structures of plant cells that carry out photosynthesis), on a substrate that creates electric current when exposed to the light, all with readily available materials.
This solar cell isolates FI molecules and, finally, allows the flow of electric current through the dust of the stabilization.
Thus, rather than large factories of solar panels that require a large amount of natural materials, technology of MIT, literally, could be packed in a plastic bag small and sent to anyone who wants to make their own solar panels at home.
If DIY enthusiasts can get their hands a few cuts of grass or some other plants and the substrate, then MIT only needs to send the zinc and titanium oxide, and instructions to create energy from this mixture, and with almost no complications, they will have done its own solar panel.
Finally, according to Andreas Mershin, people will be able to mix everything and create a painting that can be applied to your ceiling. But there's a catch. For the moment, this technology doesn't have even a 2% efficiency rate yet. But it will improve, and even that is a lot of efficiency given the small amount of resources to create.

Wind Power, Solar Panels, Alternative Energy - What is This All About & Will It Really Save You Mone
All About Wind Power, Solar Panels and Alternative Energy
For those of you who have seen the film "An Inconvenient Truth" - it was only when that documentary was released that the outcry for actually doing something to help save the environment increased. Why? Despite the existence of environmentalists, Greenpeace advocates and other organizations - the film opened many eyes to man's environmental dilemma to a worldwide audience.
This is actually a good thing, because now, almost all governments are rewarding its citizens with rebates and incentives when they use alternative energy sources to power their homes.
In essence, alternative energy comes from renewable sources of energy where the power of nature is harnessed so that the non-renewable fuel resources will not be depleted. Examples of alternative energy sources include:
o Solar energy
o Wind energy
o Geothermal energy
o Biomass
The good thing about these types of energy sources is that they are "clean" and renewable sources of energy.
Let's take wind energy as an example. A typical wind power system is one of those mini-windmills that we see - which comprise of a tower and five blades. What the system does is harness the power of the wind and turn it into useful electrical energy. Another example are solar panels. This is a structure which contains solar cells that collect rays of the sun and convert it into electric currents.
Today, you don't need to spend thousands of dollars on expensive solar panels - there are more cost-effective solar power generators available. Those who are looking for ways to generate wind power, use solar panels and learn more about alternative energy will be delighted to know that such a system already exists.

Biosolar: Solar panels with ecological materials
Solar panels are essentially devices that trap solar energy and turn it into direct current of electricity. The work of solar panels is based entirely on the photovoltaic effect, hence the called photovoltaic panels.
This brief introduction is to explain the photovoltaic effect required to occur in elements semiconductors. Semiconductor materials mainly used are single-crystal silicon and polycrystalline silicon, which is found in each of the solar cells and are covered by glass or other materials to waterproof.
All these layers comprising solar panels are placed on a substrate or bottom layer usually contains materials such as polyester or Tedlar (a type of thermoplastic).
Solar panels can become a "greener" device, when they are made with organic materials. This is the proposal of the new BioSolar Backsheet Solar Panels.
These solar panels have a substrate (backsheet) are not built with chemical based products?in materials such as polyester and Tedlar, the most common currently. Instead this lower layer of the panel is made with a material completely ecological, obtained from castor seeds.
In addition to its ecological advantage, new panels of BioSolar substrate material shows a better thermal performance than conventional materials. The operating temperature is lower, which is also one of the highlights of this type of solar panels.
In general, this type of solar panels provides a better performance in terms of mechanical strength, electromagnetic properties, durability of long-term and adaptability to the climatic conditions. Apart from that, recycling of solar panels proposed by the manufacturer also makes this solar panel advanced and according to the demand of the contemporary world.
The almost any dependency BioSolar Backsheet solar panels towards the products of petroleum makes it - not only more suitable for environmental security – but also more economical. Given that oil prices are increasing day by day, the greater stability of the value of its raw material and a lower cost of production also are points in favour.
One of the criticisms which this type ofecological solar panelsis that it requires a specific and precise monitoring in order to provide an optimum temperature of work during the process of generation of solar energy.

Designing a kitchen of flexible solar panels
As we got used from Erenovable we bring you the latest designs in respect of the use of renewable energy-based devices. This opportunity is a development belonging to Yonggu OJ and eunha Seo, awarded a prize at the international design competition 2010 in Seoul. Many designers work in solar cookers devices something that seeks to solve the problem of many rural communities do not have electricity and other fuels (such as manure, wood or kerosene) to be generators of greenhouse gases.
The kitchen solar Hot Liner consists of a flexible solar panel that can adapt its shape to become a kitchen surface. While the design is very innovative, practical use presents several weaknesses, including the fact its high cost and their fragility. The next step in search of a viable product would ensure that these solar panels were resistant to the scratches to increase its durability.

Solar Panels QSolar Multicolor
So far, the majority of the photovoltaic panels were dark, usually black in colour or a heavy grey, which are not very aesthetic view and not allow its combination with décor or in a harmonious design of a building.
This is the proposal of the firm QSolar, which delights us with the arrival of a few solar color panels, that Miss Earth these prejudices, offering a wide variety of colors, allowing the passage of light and offering transparency.
This firm, of Canadian origin, seeks to position this product as an element of home decor, as a way to polarize our Windows as well as generating a source of electrical energy, all without need for profound changes in the facility or home.

Solar Panels To The Sun
The basic component of this new device, is a series of aluminum mirror bar rotating, according to the Sun as it moves across the sky. These mirrors reflect light on a central tube, containing several layers high performance solar cells . Their construction requires a number of much less than the of the photovoltaic panels most common silicon.
By its design features, to avoid overheating also has a device that derives from the excess heat to heat water, giving an additional benefit.
According to its creators, this type of solar panels is capable of producing twice the power than other existing systems. This promise will be able to see her promptly fulfilled as they hope to launch in October in Japan, which is expected to help provide renewable energy to those affected by the tsunami.

Wind panels for home
In rural areas, is feasible to find one that another generator that runs on fossil fuels, and that sometimes is the only way to get electricity, which consider renewable energy would seem to be virtually impossible today, unless we make a great investment.
Luckily this is changing, as was the case with different fields of technology, the best way to make a step forward or a development is to achieve the same performance in small, and this has recently been implemented with the creation of the so-called wind panels.
This creation has been done by students from Cornell University (New York, United States), named under the name of Vibro-wind, which was composed by foam blocks contained in a metal structure available precisely as a panel.
These blocks act as oscillators and are connected to a set of piezo-electric transducers that are responsible for the emission of electrons produced by the vibration of the set, which are transformed into usable electrical energy.
It has as advantage that do not require strong winds and can be installed in urban areas (unlike the turbines wind) where not only occupy less space, but have more sensitivity to moderate winds.

Click Here for a Special Discount from Amazon...
If you want to put together a solar power system yourself this DVD is for you. Although it covers an off-grid system it is just as helpful for someone who wants to be partially on grid but would rather set up the system themselves. This is not an overview but rather programmed instruction.
This DVD shows, step-by-step, how a 650-watt, off-grid, do-it-yourself solar-panel system was set up. The system partially replaced a 2-gallon-a-day gasoline-driven generator system and was estimated to pay for itself (based on the price of gas) in about 2-3 years.
Starting from the ground up, it explains the importance of grounding and explains how to ground your system as you go along. Topics include: How to calculate you overall energy needs and how to reconcile them with what you have space for and what you can afford.
Solar panel math is explained simply so that you can calculate your needs in terms of: batteries, inverters, panels and wiring. How to re-evaluate and reshape your energy usage to fit what you can realistically afford with solar.
Choosing inverters and charge controllers. Safety issues. What wire to use and why. How to set up your battery and inverter system first, and test them as a working unit before adding solar. What to consider when choosing solar panels.
The difference between setting up panels and batteries in series or parallel. Using a combiner box to add additional panels later. Choosing a generator for backup and how-to equalize your batteries. How to test the specific gravity of your batteries.
How to wire your panels. Lightning grounding. As well as system layout, washing your panels once they are setup, etc. The focus here is an easy to understand explanation of how to set up and independent, self-sustaining energy system that can support most of the needs of a small off-grid home.
