Smart improves range of 135 km to the previous generation, a figure which now increases to 145 km with the arrival of the new Smart Fortwo Electric Drive, a power that can be used for both urban and intercity routes.
This new version of the Smart Fortwo Electric Drive is capable of reaching 125 km / h top speed, with acceleration from 0-100 km / h in 11.5 seconds, halving the time it used the previous generation was 26.7 seconds to reach 100 km / h.
The bike has a Smart Electric 250 watt electric motor which engages on the rear wheel and fed through a lithium ion battery 400 Wh. The electric motor assists the user while pedaling, ie complements the physical effort of the user who holds the bicycle.
