Smart Electric Vehicles

Smart Fortwo Electric Drive and Smart Electric Bike, the new electric vehicles that make up the Smart range. All a bet for the environment and sustainable development, ecology and betting on further technological innovations that improve the performance of previous versions, increasing both its speed and autonomy.

The Smart know that all electrically powered and fully sustainable, and without losing the features necessary for the city. Smart improves range of 135 km to the previous generation, a figure which now increases to 145 km with the arrival of the new Smart Fortwo Electric Drive, a power that can be used for both urban and intercity routes.

This new version of the Smart Fortwo Electric Drive is capable of reaching 125 km / h top speed, with acceleration from 0-100 km / h in 11.5 seconds, halving the time it used the previous generation was 26.7 seconds to reach 100 km / h
.

The bike has a Smart Electric 250 watt electric motor which engages on the rear wheel and fed through a lithium ion battery 400 Wh. The electric motor assists the user while pedaling, ie complements the physical effort of the user who holds the bicycle. It also has 4 different levels of pedal assistance, so that anyone will be able to move in this mode of transport without worrying about their physical condition and will be assisted by the electric motor at all times.

The Ebike has a range of between 30 and 100 miles, something really interesting when move around the city. Another curious fact is that it is not necessary to have a specific permission, because its electric motor switches off automatically when exceeding 25 km / h.

Biomass plant in Albacete which will create about 300 jobs

The plant will be built soon in Ossa de Montiel, Albacete and Magro Valley company estimated to generate about 300 jobs, good news in these times of crisis.
In blogecologista we've talked about the advantages of biomass, these advantages is the fact that the construction of the plant will mean a job opportunity for many people.

Before talking about the new plant will have a little more on biomass.

What is biomass energy? How does a biomass plant? New biomass plant in Ossa de Montiel Video about a biomass plant

Biomass refers to biological material can be plant or animal. We often speak of biomass waste or byproducts referring to vegetables as fruit peels or rinds, but can also be applied to derived energy comes from the sun animales.La Plants and animals absorb some of this energy from the sun. Biomass was the most important source of energy until they began to use fossil fuels such as coal or oil.

These facilities can be used to produce biomass products thermal energy which can then be converted into electrical energy. Among the products of biomass used to produce thermal energy are:

Conifer bark, almonds and nuts and twigs Tojo Retama Leñas industrial waste as olive stones, chips, cereal straw Earlier this October entrepreneurs gathered in Spain to attend the presentation of the proposed biomass plant plasma gasification. The plant builds the Valencia company Magro Valley in Ossa de Montiel and has an investment of 37 million euros. The technology used in this plant has been imported from Switzerland and Italia.Planta Albacete biomass will create about 300 jobs trabajoLa transformed into electrical energy plant waste processing, you will get a production of 11.5 million watts per hour. With this production between 1.5 and 2.5 times more than a generation incinerator.

Cover the needs of 92,000 homes, all in the area or even in Albacete Albacete and Ciudad leftover Real.Al transform traditional energy crops creates steam, which is indispensable for the removal of glucose from corn . The plant will provide area farmers who grow corn, a crop with low cost and is one of the main crops in lands manchegas.Otro product that will be especially useful, comes from the recycling of residues, gravels or inert slag. Xayaburi Dam Can Alter the Ecosystem of the Mekong River

BBC News reports that the construction of the dam of $3.5 billion will be officially inaugurated next Wednesday and is expected to continue until 2019. The project is funded in large part by Thai money, since most of the electricity that is expected to produce, will be sent to Thailand.

While it has been suggested to make dams smaller on the tributaries of the River, which could produce more power with less environmental impact, Laos goes ahead with the dam Xayaburi, with slight changes, but still receiving criticism.

Modifications to the dam to cope with the migration of fishes and possible problems with sedimentation, have been made, but the impact that will have the dam downstream in Cambodia and Viet Nam, is still cause for concern.

The Mekong is one of the largest rivers in the world, and in his tour through six countries: China, Burma, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Viet Nam. Its route is characterized by the presence of many waterfalls and Rapids due to the mountainous terrain, resulting in ecosystems of great beauty.
The Mekong is the river that has more stocks of the world, and involves the livelihoods of millions of families, since it contributes annually 2 million tonnes of fish, as the Siamese tent in the mud and the panga.

The Mekong also fertilize paddy fields, with its slime and allowing three annual rice harvests occur. The construction of the dam, would retain the silt, thus depriving the paddy fields of this natural fertilizer. In addition, the dam. It would also be an impediment for those fish species that back the River to reproduce.

On the other hand, the River is very polluted with arsenic, ammonia and other substances, arising from the use of fertilizers and pesticides in the cultivation of rice, as well as fecal waters from urban cores, that we are treated.

The dam, in addition to drastically reducing fish stocks, will increase pollution of the River, which has a direct impact on the health and survival of the locals, who will suffer all these effects for nothing, because the contribution of electricity do not affect them, nor see anything provided economic benefits, which will go to hands a French multinational.

Wind Park Sierra de Carondio and Muriellos

When we knew he was going to build the "Park wind saw Carondio and Muriellos" many us come to consider how the events would be developed since they were going to perform on the same land which was the Archaeological Park. As you can imagine some were putting the cry in the sky thinking that it could destroy something so valuable.

The result has been satisfactory, for various reasons, among them that are continued finding archaeological elements that have been respected for what the cultural value continues to increase.

Finally the archaeological elements of the wind park "Sierra de Carondio and Muriellos" can continue visiting are while enhance the renewable energies in the area, a primary aspect for the area both friendly.
The procedure followed was marked each of the elements so that they would remain intact. In this way, you can visit areas such as BARROW, Bowl, Carreiriega de los Gallegos and Roman camp, where archaeological items.

One of the most interesting aspects of this area at a historical level, is that it was occupied by communities in the era of prehistory as indicated by the remains that have been found.

In turn, other types of performances such as the restoration of the forest track have been in the area and even is has meant that at the end, the Roman camp of Moyapan has today the official cataloging at the IAC of Allande.

This work has been directed and performed by one of the most important companies worldwide in terms of renewable energy, EDP Renewables, which performs its actions both in Europe and America.
Do you know more wind farms in these conditions? What do you think?

Advances in Wind Energy: Wind Turbine in Low Winds

On September 18 was presented at the German fair Husum Wind Energy a new wind turbine with which it is possible to use the low winds, which means that we will have at our disposal more amount of wind energy.

While they are still designs, is expected for the second quarter of next year we can know in detail the first prototype which will be installed in in Osterild (Denmark).

The features of this new V126-3.0 MW with a rotor diameter of 126 meters which makes it perfect to take advantage of the low winds and, in turn, is one of the ways in which we will be able to differentiate them with its design of blades with structural shells.

In turn, as experts say, expected that with this type of design are to see reduced investment spending continues to maintain the high quality of the wind turbines.

This type of wind turbine has an area of greater, in particular sweep, a 27% more than the old turbines thanks to their shovels of 62 metres.

In turn, this type of wind turbine will make less noise reducing noise pollution.
This type of wind turbines require a prior measurement of the speed of the wind taking place thanks to the measuring towers.

There are different types of anenometros among them of three hemispherical cups that you've probably seen in any wind farm because it is the most widely used today.

Although, I have to tell you, that these towers are also used in aviation, marine, etc.

Definitely, this kind of products as V126-3.0 MW gives us a bit of encouragement and hope to those who support renewables since this means that increasingly enhance more values pro environment.

How Many Know About the Offshore Wind Power?

When we talk about offshore wind energy we refer to wind farms that are established in the sea, a park that is intended to get electricity thanks to the force of the wind.

Specifically, are the different pressure atmospheric and temperature that can be in different areas of the sea that cause there are currents of wind.

We are accustomed to speak of solar energy and other renewable energy sources, but we should not miss the opportunity to talk about the news of wind energy marine already uqe we can say that Europe is a leader in this sector.

There's only other two offshore wind farms in CHina and Jiangsu Rudong.

One of the most striking aspects of wind power is the frequency of wind as in high seas often increase by 40% and they are much more regular in Earth. This implies that offshore wind energy is much more productive than land-based wind farms.

Another of the advantages posed by the wind farm at sea is that it is much easier to move wind turbines on boat in trucks and trains due to the large size of each one of its parts (vanes) and weight.
The big disadvantage of wind farms on the high seas are the construction costs since it increases the difficulty, which may rise to double expenditure to which would lead to its installation in the land despite having the same capacity.

Another disadvantage is that this type of renewable energy is still in progress, we could say that he has not yet matured and gradually get to know new technological advances that can make big changes in the facilities that will make them much more viable.

Little by little we have to start to trust even more renewable energy to boost both his Studio and its use.

In this new phase of electric vehicles has gone from a range of 135 km that had the previous generation to 145 km of the new Smart Fortwo Electric drive, which will allow us both to longer tours within and outside the city.

The new Smart Fortwo Electric Drive is capable of reaching 125 km/h maximum speed, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 11.5 seconds, a revolution to verify that the previous generation employed 26.7 seconds to reach the same speed.

If we look at the autonomy of the electric bicycle has a swing of 30 to 100 kilometres, and it offers some really interesting when it comes to move in our city benefits.

The Smart Electric Bike mounts a 250 watt electric motor, attached to the rear wheel and that is powered by a Li-ion battery 400 Wh lithium. Electric power is provided while the user pedals, i.e., is complemented by the physical effort of the person who occupies the bicycle.

It incorporates 4 different levels of assistance to pedalling, so any person for very little physical shape that has have the ability to navigate any street in your city without worrying about the slope of the ground which circulate. Another interesting fact is that you can drive without having any specific permission for her, since that the assistance of the electric motor will turn off when you exceed 25 km/h Post sponsored

Buderus Installs its Condensing Technology in the Hotel Indalopark in Barcelona

The solution to this emblematic coastal hotel stands out for its modern condensing technology, designed to achieve a high calorific power (400 kW) in a space reduced from just one square meter. In fact, boilers Logamax plus installed on the Indalopark GB162 have been developed by Buderus with new guidelines on decalefaccion technology. Since the signing ensures that the new mural boiler with a seasonal performance of up to 110%, is "an alternative essential for houses or mounted in the form of waterfall, large installations".

The boilers Logamax plus GB162 meet the requirements of quality of engineering and architecture studies. They have a compact form, like conventional boilers for apartments. Sturdy construction, for its construction have been used high-quality materials, which guarantees a long life of the boiler. Assembly is simple and provides great flexibility of location, with the possibility of mounting of four boilers in cascade: 400 kW and a square meter, as has been done in the Indalopark hotel.

The Logamax plus GB162 does not need a complicated hydraulic or require a minimum volume. The Flow Plus (variable speed pump) system adapts the water flow to the power of the boiler. This saves energy and the Flow Plus system reduces the costs of electricity between 30 and 40 per cent in comparison with a conventional bomb.

Another advantage of the new boiler is its easy maintenance, since all operations are carried out from the front of it (it is not necessary to observe lateral distances) and allows you to attach a Logamatic class 5 NOx regulation system. It also has a ceramic burner of premix gas and group of combustion with control of the number of revolutions of the fan, watertight operation, and a low noise level.

London 2012 Olympic Games Went Green with Recyclable Basketball Stadium

Celebration of the Olympics so far has been a privilege granted only to a few rich countries who could afford to erect massive sports arenas required for the event. Since the Olympics draw large numbers of international visitors, these arenas of construction is a must.

However, to level the playing field proverbial for countries with a slightly lower budget, designers Wilkinson Eyre and Sinclair Knight Mertz have created a field of basketball which is not only economic to the organizers but also much more green than the majority of permanent structures. The project of the London 2012 Summer Olympics basketball stadium was created in collaboration with consultants of KSS sports and as its name suggests, would be used to organize basketball this summer Olympic Games yeara s.

Made with 1,000 tons of steel, design is very cheap and 100% Green, but certainly presents a great case for the incorporation of more sustainable designs for events of the same structure and Crown, the assistance as the Olympic Games. Clad in white, basketball stadium is composed of recyclable materials that can be reused.

For now, the London 2012 Olympics basketball stadium is one of a kind project to the members of the Olympics Organizing Committee, as well as host nations concerned agree that such sports arenas potentially could bring games to Nations with less purchasing power and give a boost to their economies at the same time make the Olympic games more green.

Electric Bicycle Norway Röskva Creates a New Genre for e-bike Bodywork

The Electric bike can be simply fabulous for the environment, but they have a terrible habit of being scary and geeky look at everything take away you it is "cool" about bicycling in the traditional sense of the phrase. Bearing in mind this little piece of vanity, a team of students from Oslo-based (UMB) life sciences Norway University has created the electric Röskva - an electric bike that has every right to sharp-edged style of a MotoGP bike with an engine power 96 eco-friendly.

But the figure does not seem so impressive for a sports bike but running clean engine is aided by wheels of carbon fiber, bodywork and unified framework that allows the motorcycle that they weigh less than 25 kg of General. This allows the bike to get a nice and toasted top speed of 112 miles per hour but with a full charge of the battery in returning a range of 62 miles.

Röskva name was the name of one of the servant of mythological God Thor. The old Norse Word translates to "fast", which is exactly what electric bikes is intended to be. Electric bicycles in the role of market today an execution engine clean but its performance is hampered by its structure and body that often is based on designs of bicycles gasoline developed a few decades ago.

Röskva electric bicycle comes with developed body to complement its electric motor and the constraints of modern technology. Chassis, suspension and bicycle brakes are hand made of carbon fiber elements that stand out for their performance light weight yet sturdy. Therefore the Röskva entered as an electric bike developed using a frame as it was created to complement the performance of the electric motor.

The concept of handmade and unique bicycle derived its form racing bikes currently in vogue though its electric propulsion system is totally cutting edge. Röskva electric bicycle differs from a traditional motorcycle in terms of design and layout and thus creates a new genre of design of the bike itself.

The designers behind the project have not revealed the technical details of the engine and the power in the electric bike but its objective is the prototype model to serve as a starting point for the development of a distribution of specific electric bicycle, frame and body that would allow electric bike of the future designers create lighter electric bicycles for the daily commute, needs of horse racing and recreational.

1 Litre of light project used recycled bottles to create solar lamps

In the Philippines, as many parts of the developing world, kerosene lamps are the main source of light for people living in disadvantaged areas.

Not only are these dangerous lamps of itself also emit large amounts of CO2 and other toxic gases that cause of respiratory problems among people using them as well. This led to student MIT Alfredo Moser to get an idea for a solar lamp made out of recycled bottles water.

This idea was developed by Illac Diaz, a Filipino student who used to create Isang Litrong Liwanag AKA the liter of the project light. While his name may be a little misleading, alternative lighting system basically guarantees that people are able to use natural light without having the blazing sun in a through a large skylight during the day.

Each solar lamp contains one litre of water mixed with bleach that creates the same amount of light as a 60 watt incandescent light bulb regular. It is always better that chlorine keeps algae from water and bacteria-free for more than 5 years which gives each installation a longer life.

The litre of light basically project uses discarded one liter PET bottles, filled with water and use it to create a hybrid solar lamp/skylight that captures and amplifies the light of the Sun that works like an electric lamp and flood the Interior with light during the day. The lamp does not require any electricity to operate, although it can be a little less luminescent on cloudy or rainy days.

The project is part of the group my shelter Foundation that has invited the owners, students and volunteers to create their own makeshift solar lamps cost zero and your goal is to have 1 million

ES Pipe Waterwheel Concept Transforms Regular Water Supply into Mini Turbine

For residents of third world countries, access to regular water and grid electricity remains sporadic.

Even though the supply of clean drinking water has improved greatly with people tapping into ground water using bore wells, the supply of constant electricity remains elusive and many people are doomed to fight the dark of the night using oil-lit lamps or use the limited power a battery backup can provide.

For the underprivileged population in places like Africa, designer Ryan Jongwoo Choi has designed the ES Pipe Waterwheel concept which has the ability to turn regular plumbing into a mini hydroelectric generator.

One of the finalists at the 2012 IDEA award (International Design Excellence Award), the concept calls for a special intermediate plumbing fixture that can be attached to regular plumbing pipes.

Each time the tap is turned on, the flow of water through the pipe passes through the installed waterwheel which turns the Kinect energy from the flowing water into electricity that can be used to power light bulbs.

The installation generates clean power and only utilizes the energy created by the flow of water which is otherwise untapped. The easy to install and easy to detach waterwheel stores the power in a battery and the user can easily detach the gizmo and use the portable light wherever it is needed.

The ES Pipe Waterwheel concept can also be used with hoses to make the process of installing and uninstalling more convenient.

To reinvent local crafts and placing them in contemporary furniture design, Burks has created the DALA outdoor furniture collection.

The word DALA is the Senegal term for the verb "do" and the collection inspiration of crafts and other traditional artistic influences in the region. The collection was created as a collaborative effort between Burks and Dedon, the German furniture company. DALA collection was recently displayed at the Milan design week.

Each piece in the collection of DALA shaped to resemble traditional although Interestingly; crafts Burks also combine these parts with his love of recycling. The collection, therefore, is woven around an aluminum frame powered with the exterior using recyclable fashion extrusion of polyethylene and recycled packaging used in food and beverage. The collection is available in three tones - sea, grass and fire.

Way Out Alternative Energy Sources

When we think of viable alternative energy sources, we think of solar energy, wind power and even wave power. But have you ever considered the possibility of making energy out of old pills, used diapers and molten salt? Alternative energy from garbage and molten salt sources is no longer stuff of fiction; it has successfully been tried and tested.

Alternative energy prevents waste and emissions
Since companies in the UK have to comply with commercial EPC regulations, alternative energy is not only for bunny huggers; everyone can benefit from producing energy from new sources. The energy needed to power our daily activities can be transferred from almost anything. We are sitting with all this potential energy but without the means to tap into it.

Some innovative scientists and inventors have found ways to convert waste, which is usually difficult to dispose of, into energy and this gives us the possibility of killing two birds with one stone.  Not only does this lessen the risk of chemical leakage into water tables and reduces landfill problems, but it also takes the strain off our stocks of fossil fuels and oil.

Use an energy pill
Medication seems one of the most unlikely sources of alternative energy.  Expired medication is notoriously difficult  to get rid of. If people flush their medication down the toilet, it becomes part of the water system, and if it's  thrown away as landfill, the potentially harmful chemicals seep into the soil and eventually water tables. Governments are becoming increasingly concerned about pharmaceutical water pollution, as scientists have found high levels of many drugs in water sources. Some of these are hormone pills, which can cause cancers and animal mutations.

A company in the USA that specialises in the disposal of expired medications sends expired drugs to an energy company that converts waste products into energy. Six and a half million pounds of pills were disposed of in 2006, producing enough energy to power hundreds of homes for over a year.

Fill up the tank with dirty diapers
Another alternative energy company was looking for waste sources that are consistently produced to make diesel fuel from. The answer came in the form of used diapers. The company now transforms 30, 000 tons of diapers into 10, 000 tons of diesel fuel at 50 US cents per liter in a low-emission closed system.

Molten salt versus fossil fuel
We've already looked to the elements, the air, sun and water, for alternative energy sources but a rocket building company and solar energy company in North America thought out of the box and came up with a method of making energy out of molten salt.

Molten salt has commonly been used to make alloys, but analysts say that the idea of combining solar power and molten salts is promising. Solar power is collected by tilting mirrors that direct it onto the molten salt, which is then heated up to over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit; the  steam produced is used to drive a turbine. The molten salt can be reused to repeat the process and no emissions are produced.

Drive with drink
Thousands of bottles of smuggled alcohol are confiscated in Sweden each year, and authorities have come up with a brilliant alternative energy use for it - by using alcoholic cocktails as the biogas source to power cars and buses. It seems like a noble use for the large quantity of hard liquor produced for consumption each year.

Alternative energy sources give us a way out of the oil crisis and let us feel all warm and fuzzy inside about saving the environment with renewable energy. However, at the moment, it's difficult to make alternative energy resources accessible to everyone, as new energy systems are expensive to produce.

The TectonicPlate Under the Indian Ocean is Breaking - Experts Fear Large Earthquakes

The Indo Board or the Indian plate plates the earthquake rupture April 2012 Video explaining about tectonic plates Video tsunami that shocked the world this plate extends from the border of the India with Nepal and China, the Indian subcontinent, Melanesia, Australia and New Zealand.

The plate consists of two parts joined makes 43 million years ago, the Indian plate and the Australian.Seismologists suspect that this plate is fragmenting since 1980, this would be the cause of the earthquake and tsunami of 2004 in Sumatra and also two earthquake of 8 Richter scale from April 2012.

These studies stated that the plate subducts is could be moving northward at a speed of 5.6 cm a year, on the other hand the other party the India would move somewhat slower about 3.7 cm per year due to the impediment of the Himalayan mountains.

The plate was fragmenting is not something new seismologists knew that it is a process slow but gradual. After this break-up of the plate would be the brutal earthquake of 9.2 degrees in centered in Banda Aceh in December 2004 and then the tsunami that caused hundreds of thousands of victims. Matthias Delescluse researcher of you École Normale Supérieure of Paris author of the articles on the topic published in Nature, said EfE:
Seismic activity between Australia and the India was already important before the earthquake of April 2012, but has increased since the 2004 earthquake. We now realize that the deformation of the plate between both countries may result in monstrous earthquakes of a magnitude never recorded before.
Experts are still studying where can be the area of union of these plates. The most likely hypothesis is arising to the southwest of the India or to the West of Sumatra.

Keith Koper, seismologist says that they had never before seen an earthquake of such magnitude. That seemed part of a disorderly breakup of plates. In just 160 seconds tremor caused 4 cracks in the plate, and I felt in the India and in Australia.

This earthquake originated in 2004 in contrast not brought with it a tsunami, since were caused by horizontal movements of oblique faults, producing sea inside away from the coast there were just victims. The majority of large earthquakes occur when two tectonic plates collide each other. However when fractures of plates slide horizontally along the fault usually scrapyard earthquakes of lesser intensity.

Earthquake of April 11, 2012 challenge the above, I know never before had recorded an earthquake of such intensity because not the clash of plates but horizontal parts of the plate displacements. BIOMASS In PERU

The experience that occurs has been developing on our small organic farm of one hectare, Bioagriculture White House, located in the Valley of the River Lurín, Pachacamac district, 35 km south of the city of Lima, Peru.

We grow a wide variety of products such as cassava (manioc), Pope, camote (sweet potato), beans, corn, vegetables, banana, strawberry and various herbs. We also breed cuyes (Guinea Pigs) for meat consumption and recycling of nutrients for the farm.
More than ten years ago, in 1994, we decided to build a biodigestor, Chinese model, in order to take better advantage of the manure produced by the guinea pigs from a farm which at that date had a population of 600 animals. Until that date, the Guinea pig manure was mainly used as organic fertilizer, already out directly or mixed with the stubble or crop residues for the preparation of compost, manure produced under aerobic conditions.

Currently the population of Guinea Pigs fluctuates between 900 and 1,000 units and produces approximately three tons of manure per month (36 tons per year). It is from this animal biomass produced in the farm - which adds plant biomass (crop waste) - which promotes recycling. Through these processes, we can not only produce bioabonos, in liquid or solid form, but also biogas.

The process that is performed using the bio-digester is somewhat a mirror of what happens in nature when the biomass buried for millions of years is decomposed under anaerobic conditions and produces a considerable deposit of natural gas or biogas.

The bio-digester of White House Bioagriculture has a capacity of 10 cubic meters. The central Chamber has three holes that are connected: a central hole that only opens once a year, for the initial loading and unloading; a side port connected to a tube that goes near the bottom of the camera and that serves the regular feed, and finally a third hole attached to a side Chamber where they exit the liquid bioabono or biol.
Load initial or bottom loading which feeds each year the bio-digester is constituted by a precompost that, for White House Bioagriculture, is prepared from Guinea pig manure and Corn Stover.

A ton of this precompost, which is three to four weeks of preparation, and with a temperature between 50-55 ° C, is introduced by the central mouth and mix with 200 litres of rumen or crap coming from the stomach of livestock cattle newly slaughtered; This material is obtained from an abattoir or slaughterhouse in the area, only once a year and, generally, for free because it is considered scrap material. The rumen or basofia contains a high load of anaerobic microorganisms responsible for the process of fermentation and the production of biogas, including methane.

Then add water up to a volume of approximately eight cubic meters, leaving the two cubic meters remaining for the storage of biogas in the upper part of the central Chamber of the bio-digester. Immediately, is to close the center hole with a heavy lid on which even stones are placed to prevent that it is lifted by the pressure of the produced biogas.

Each week feeds the bio-Digester with a mixture of manure cuy and water in proportion of 1: 3, allowing us to have one sufficient volume of gas for the entire week.

After a year of the initial feeding of the bio-digester is downloading, obtaining the solid bioabono or biosol. In the original model, discharge is done through the central hole, which is very uncomfortable and complicated. To facilitate the discharge of the biosol we have made a modification to the original design of the bio-digester, which consists of the construction of a side window, overlooking an adjacent to the bio-digester atmosphere, and is sealed with a lid of galvanized iron, secured with bolts.

The bio-digester of White House Bioagriculture comes running efficiently since it was built 10 years ago and thanks to biogas production we have been able to save significantly the cost of electric power in the House.
Once the biodigestor begins to produce biogas (at the five or six days in summer), this energy can be used as fuel in the kitchen or for lighting directly by gas lamps.

If there is an electrical generator that runs on gasoline, following modification of the carburetor, you can do function with biogas (methane) to produce electricity.

On the other hand, we get steadily liquid bioabono or biol, which is not only an excellent organic fertilizer for our crops, but its contents of phytohormones, is a valuable enabler of growth and flowering of the plants, especially fruit trees.

The third product of the bio-digester is obtained annually to perform the download, when collected the solid bioabono or biosol, which is an excellent fertilizer for crops.

Given the growing interest by the bio-digesters, each year, when are we going to download the bio-digester and reload it, we offer courses with the motto "learning by doing", through which participants can learn in a very practical way how a bio-digester is built, how works and how it is downloaded and reloaded.

Without a doubt one of the central attractions of the farm is the bio-digester operation observed as part of the work of recycling we do using all waste that the farm produces.

BECAUSE OF ALTERNATIVE ENERGY

The main energy resources we use (coal, oil, natural gas and uranium) are limited and, therefore, can be depleted. Furthermore, their use results in a significant environmental impact on the biosphere by polluting the air, water and soil.

These facts have generated a growing interest in the development of new technologies for the use of alternative renewable energy sources that are currently unprofitable but have the advantage of being less polluting.

The present, in our country, alternative energies represent only about 1.5% of energy production

The development of human society is based on the consumption of large amounts of energy. The energy flows through ecosystems and provides a livelihood for living things ultimately comes from the sun

However, despite the scientific and technological development, we have yet to learned to effectively harness this inexhaustible and therefore most of the energy we use comes from the natural resources on our planet, mainly coal and oil.

ENERGY FROM FOSSIL FUELS

It is the energy associated with the use of coal, oil and natural gas.

The form of energy that have fossil fuels is internal energy, which we can take advantage from combustion reactions.

It can transform into what usually is called thermal (heat) energy, electrical energy, kinetic energy (through internal combustion engines), etc. It is used in many industrial and domestic applications.
