Compete Spanish frigorifíco which saves energy
Sodge is the name of the project with which a cold original prevents losing energy has no traditional hinged door, and replaces it with elastic neoprene sheet is designed. In this way, it is possible to take off the door on the side closest to the feed you want to catch without need to open the door completely.
As the foil is transparent allows us to visualize the desired food of opening the door and thus prevents loss of heat. In addition, the body of the refrigerator is made "Corian", an ecological material consisting of two-thirds of natural minerals and part of acrylic high resistance. Thus, the body of the refrigerator and neoprene sheet snap perfect thanks to a magnetic strip prevents loss of cold.
Finally, the ecological refrigeration original, and that helps to save energy, is intended to be done to our need to measure because it can be designed using different modules.
This innovative project called "Sodge" has been designed by Francesc Roig, engineer of the CEU-Cardenal Herrera University of Valencia and will compete with other 17 projects in different countries to win the International competition of design James Dyson. The result of this contest will be announced this 5 October and the prize will be £ 10,000 and £ 10,000 to the winning student for University or winning participating school.
Finally, note that Spanish national jury participate in Joaquín Ezcurra from the school official engineers industrial of Madrid (COIIM) David Bravo, director of the Gadget magazine.
Erenovable from both the Blog green, we look forward to the winner of this contest is the engineer of the Valencian University who designed the refrigerator that saves energy.

Why Use Alternative Energy Sources?
It does not seem very wise to use comply with the same dirty energy sources every time, and also keep to worry about them running out. If you think about this, will you come to think of it so funny. If we the energy of the water, wind and the Sun can tame, we would be living in a world that had a inexhaustible and infinite source of energy. Besides all this energy obtained would also clean. Also, there would be no potential risks for the environment, and we must be able to live in a world that is completely free of any adverse effects on the environment. It is our call to the pollution under check, since the us who ever started the pollution in the first place. The technology that we previously created was meant to be the energy sources we have now works for us. Therefore, it is now our responsibility to take good care of the ecosystem.
The technology that is essential for the use of the alternative sources of energy become quite affordable in these times. This is because more and more number of people now use. And for those who do, this is the perfect time to start to do it. Here is another good thing about the use of these alternative sources. Use of these energy sources even helps you to save taxes. The tax incentives granted by the Government can give you most of the money that would have to invest in the installation of devices and technology using these newer sources of energy to get back.
The alternative technology sources are very versatile in nature and so can literally be used for almost everything. It is therefore very important to use them with extreme responsibility. The sources are extremely suitable alternative for electricity. Our reliability, these become everyday devices nowadays so much that it has become quite inconceivable for us to even a day. And just to keep up with our daily demands, we consume a significantly large amount of electricity. This is where this alternative sources of energy. And it is also the only way that can help us meet the requirements of the society in terms of energy resources.
The extensive use of alternative energy sources is the first step we can take for the improvement of our planet. This is not only for the well-being of the world, but also significant important benefits has in store for us. Think of hefty accounts that your electric company charges you for your monthly consumption. You might be regretting for the heavy consumption of electricity in your home each month when you a check for the payment of your invoices writes. Also, it is always wise for the homeowner of a and its members to supervise the use of electrical devices. Although it might not be possible for anyone completely shut down or replaced all devices in a home, certainly it is possible to save every bit. This can also be used as a backup for emergency situations.
Alternative sources of energy are now in high demand. Sun's rays may prove to be of a reliable source of energy in the coming times.

Offshore Wind Farm in London
By the time he has started to build the first phase of the project, with the installation of the first two turbines on 27 and 28 January, having already a generation of 3.6 MW of electricity available, they will begin to be operational from next March.
At this stage seek to install about 175 wind turbines, which would end not to deploy before the end of 2012, and which could have a power capacity of about 630 MW, then give place to the next stage.
After the first phase of London Array, will seek to quickly add more wind turbines in the second phase, looking to double the number of turbines up to 1 GW Power, which would be able to supply about 750,000 homes
For the moment nothing is confirmed about a third stage of the project, but if all goes well not be ruled out following further expanding this Off-Shore Wind Farm.

Solutions to the problematic of the danger of extinction
The first and most important step is the protection of the environment and natural habitats of plants and animals, the species cannot survive without shelter, water and food.
This protection can be achieved in different ways, starting with identifying the causes by which species are having problems adapting to the environment and work directly on it.
The State and associations responsible for the protection of wildlife should be agreed to ensure that species can remain calm in a habitat unaltered until their numbers begin to ascend to get out of the danger.
It is important mjuy people to be informed and worry about protecting the environment together with its inhabitants.

Artificial clouds: A wonder for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games
Artificial clouds for 2014 Winter Olympics of artificial clouds for 2014 Winter Olympics.
The underlying technology of the project is based on a universal system of modules that can be grouped and separated at high altitudes. The basic structure of the clouds is supported by an aluminium fitted by a fabric membrane chassis.
For the stable vertical movement, the clouds have connected rigidly with each other.
The lower parts of the modules define funnels of rain, which they accumulate moisture and can make to pour down as rain. The upper layer is integrated with solar elements, that will be the solar energy that can be used for lighting, as well as life support.
Emotion on the various scenarios that clouds will be different uses is quite prominent. They can be used to cover forms of park or accommodate VIPs in the areas of skiing mountain, etc.. Once the Olympics are done with the 'clouds' can be used in the streets of the canopy to various festivals, remaining integral for entertainment in the city of Sochi.

Cendere Valley Project of Urban Design for a Greener Turkey
It is a challenge that has tried to Emre Arolat architects (EAA) to join his new project of urban design for Kagithane Cendere Valley, in the heart of Istanbul, the capital city of Turkey. It is believed that the new project will help Cendere Valley to become an important green corridor for all citizens of the country.
Cendere Valley project urban design Cendere Valley project of urban design.
Currently, Cendere Valley lies in a very "Decomposed State," despite being one of the most important ecological corridor in Istanbul. While the central part of the Valley is populated by a low density of population, it is surrounded by forest on one side, aligned along the Black Sea.
The area shows flashes of a story contained in old engravings. It was an agricultural area during the last years of the Ottoman Empire and was slowly filled with industries in the 1950s. Another change is suffering these days with the displacement of industrial zones of urban housing and its slow transformation into a center of the service sector. The development of the latter requires the construction of large number of residences, offices, recreation centers for residents and other amenities, such as schools, hospitals, etc..
The new project aims to meet these new requirements while maintaining the texture and strengthen the green credentials of the Valley. The design of architects EAA proposal focuses on a controlled population density to maintain the ecological character of the area and provide a place of sustainable housing to residents. So, architects have planned to erect buildings along the Cendere and Anadolu avenues in the area. The buildings would be in blocks of escalating casualties. There will be commercial units on the ground floor while arcades along the edge of both avenues will help to create a kind of corridor protected lengthwise.
The new plan envisages passages and transitions to pedestrians, as the elevation of the terrain are supposed to have dense public use due to commercial activities. In addition, these transitions and passages create a visual relationship with the avenues and tolerate the line.
According to architects, the blocks of low rise would create a "permeable facade ' between the avenues and the ecological corridor." In the area of the Office, there is a provision for a green terrace that will act as a divider between the private fields located in the upper part of the buildings and areas of business below. Architects plan have focus points in the city for various activities.
These points will have different thresholds to break the continuity and provide a rate for urban design. Also you can place a rail along the stream for the transport system.

Different Energy Sources
As many know, there is a classification based for all resource, based of course on capacity which we can continue getting raw materials necessary to reach a final product, i.e., whether this is a renewable resource, either a non-renewable energy source.
Fossil fuels: includes the exploitation of oil formed makes billions of years by the accumulation of hydrocarbons (product of decomposition of organic, from material generally of plankton) that are content between impermeable rocks in liquid state, and hovering over it in the form of Natural Gas, present in volatile or gaseous state.
It also includes coal as another source of non-renewable energy, organic matter of vegetable origin, covered with sediments originating changes in its molecular structure to increase the pressure conditions.
Stand out by releasing a large amount of energy by combustion, which applies to a lot of uses ranging from heating to mobility using an internal combustion engine, this last allowing its transformation into electric energy.
Nuclear fuel: used for obtaining Nuclear energy, being the most frequently used uranium and plutonium, which through a process called radioactive decay can be decomposed into atoms of lower molecular mass, process that releases an enormous amount of energy.
This energy is used by nuclear power stations which through the formation of water vapor and with the help of a turbine connected to an alternator, generate electrical energy necessary.
It is those who are considered as unlimited, or are too large and are not also largely consumed in proportion to the amount of energy that can be obtained from them.
This group is practically impossible to include a limited amount of resources, as that carried out various scientific progress is checked that it is possible to have a renewable energy source without using a consumable.
This is why it is considered as the source of everything to solar energy, which is responsible for the formation and distribution of other renewable resources.
In this case, which stands out of them is that while they are not unlimited, renewal occurs quite quickly, given the potentiality that precisely that must be controlled is that does not consume more than necessary, otherwise it would a disappearance.
A clear example of this is the use of Biomass energy, that although plants are growing relatively fast, over exploitation may generate a depletion of resources that offer.

Sustainable transport more electric vehicles
There is no question about transportation industry being one the major contributing factors to the total quantity of carbon emissions all over the world. Core statistical figures certainly attest to this new model vehicles accounting for than gasoline with 20 percent of the astronomical 8000 million tons of total carbon dioxide, emitted annually.
In fact, the average passenger car in United States emits 11,450 (5,190 kg) pounds of greenhouse gases per year, thus translating to an overall ambit of more than 33 percent of US's total carbon also. Even when it comes to spatial habitats, the substantial carbon footprint of an individual fossil fuel powered automobile can account for loss of over a whopping 50,000 square meters of area.
In such adverse conditions, electric vehicles are often presented as the righteous saviors of our environment. However, when practicality knocks at the door, they have their own set of problems, which we have briefly discussed later.
The problem with electric cars
The greatest predicament of electric cars is related to commercial economy, rather than environmental effect. In the current scenario, an EV demands more upfront cost from the customer, than comparable its gas guzzling cousin. Marcille, there are a slew of other problems, given the relatively nascent stage of the whole technological scope electric. These include consumer oriented obstacles like lack of Figo, or in this case, charging infrastructure, the psychological range anxiety and even maintenance and servicing factors. Finally, when we consider their intrinsic power systems, large scale lithium ion battery production in itself can be pollution intensive.
Green transport beyond EVs
1 Air powered vehicles: Toyota's air powered Ku:rin
Air in itself can be considered as one of the greenest forms of 'fuel'. In this regard, there are some independent conceptions that are powered exclusively by compressed air. However, big names as usual lend greater credibility to a nascent scope. Well, this time it is the world's largest automaker Toyota, who has kicked up a few notches by conceiving the three wheeler Ku:rin ' green'. Holding the world record for being the fastest car powered by compressed air, the arrow shaped vector has a speed of 80.3 mph (129.2km/h). Though, there is still room for further development, as the current range is marked at to paltry 2 miles (3.2 km), because of the low energy density of compressed air.
2 Biofuel powered vehicles: Lotus demand 265E
With a breathtaking acceleration of 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and an exhilarating top speed of 158 mph (253 km/h), the Lotus demand 265E is certainly the boisterous monster we auto fans pray for. However, it is the green credentials that have tickled our fancies. Powered by a supercharged 1.8 litre engine with 260 hp capacity, the fuel used by this classy specimen is uniquely bio ethanol. This particularly naturalistic component comprises of around 85 percent ethanol (an alcohol) and 15 percent petrol. As for its advantages, the fuel produces more power in the engine than with conventional petrol, and also contribute to net carbon reduction. But, on the other hand, it does reduce the overall fuel economy of the car.
3 Hydrogen internal combustion engine: The Scorpion
When it comes to pure style factor, the 'curvalicious' Scorpion from Texas based widely Motor Company, is surely the eye candy to crave for. But, beyond the visual allure, it is the innovative power train under the hoods that matters most for our precious environment. In that regard, the company has taken the innovative path with their specially designed hybrid mechanism that entails an internal combustion engine configured to burn a combination of gasoline and hydrogen. This substantially decreases both CO2 and NOx emissions, along with improving upon overall fuel economy. Marcille, the car only requires an on board water tank which is controlled to dual computer processor to generate high pressure hydrogen.
4 Maglev vehicles: Dualmode 2030 concept vehicle
As can be ascertained by the apt name, this novel conception, which is still in its conceptual stage, will have two different maneuvering systems incorporated into a single automobile. In fact, the designer Geoffrey Cooper has envisaged the Dualmode 2030 car to have an autonomous driving mechanism, when traveling through expansive, traffic free highways maglev. This will allow an automatic mode of steering, while the driver relaxes throughout the zero emission commute. However, when the vehicle enters the city zone, the conventional gasoline oriented driving system will take over, pertaining to fully manual controls.
5 Human powered cars: HumanCar
Taking a page right out of 'The Flintstones', the human powered car is as sustainable as it gets. Powered by unique series of back and forth cranks, which are to be operated by the passengers, the whole footpedals only works well with four people on board. Of course, the Human Car could also be driven by a single driver, but then it will be powered by a hybrid engine or a fully electrical set up. As for solid specs, the $15,000 vehicle can supposedly move to a top speed of 30 mph (48 km/h) with the 'human power' of four.
6 Hydrogen Petrol powered cars
British scientists are in the process of devising an artificial petrol component which is based on hydrogen, rather than carbon. This means the final by product after combustion will be limited to water, instead of carbon harmful fumes. However, even beyond its fascinatingly green potential, the artificial petrol will most likely be ludicrously cost effective. In fact, according to the researchers, the advanced fuel is expected to have a price of around just $1.50 to gallon, by its final stage of development after two years.
The Bottomline
Now, the only silver lining in the current situation is that the carrier of our green technology has certainly expanded beyond the constraints of electric driven mechanisms. Yes, some of them may still be relegated within the ambit of concepts and prototypes, but their continued development in the future may herald credible to more collective solution, both from perspectives of environment and user convenience.

Use of Alternative Energy Sources
So what has led to this energy crisis? There is no one answer, because the cause is a series of abuse and misuse of resources of the Earth. And the problem does not stop with the lack of energy. On the contrary, it permeates all aspects of the planetary life.
To meet the growing needs of the ever-increasing population, plants and industries was to be built. Modernisation of industries question extremely large amounts of energy while the surface of traditional energy sources, coal and oil, however, takes off. Compounding the situation is the non-stop emission of toxic gases by factories and even by the man himself in his ordinary daily activities. These gases pollute the air and contribute to global warming, making the planet unsafe for humans to live.
Energy crisis is actually just a part of the global problem of a sick and maybe dying planet. Nevertheless, the solutions for the energy crisis, specifically the use of renewable energy sources, can check the further degradation of the planet which, in combination with the efforts to recover from many of the natural resources that hopefully will nurse the planet back to health, can give us all a better future.
Here are some ways the use of alternative energy sources can help to avert energy crisis and in the Wellness efforts for mother earth:
1. less dependence on oil and coal. Current distribution area from renewable energy sources contribute approximately 18% of global energy consumption. What many independent groups proposals is 100% energy supply from alternative sources, meaning fossil fuels and nuclear energy will not be used. And this is very much possible considering the long-term potential of renewable energy from sunlight, wind, water, tides and geothermal energy. Some scientists have to prove that their respective countries soon itself entirely by renewable energy can power.
2. minimum to zero emissions of toxic gases. A great advantage to the use of alternative energy sources is the reduction of the emissions of carbon dioxide and many other pollutants. Solar-energy panels and wind turbines have no emissions. This is not only offers clean air for humans to breathe, but also no additional load to the warming stops contributory.
3. minimum production of waste products. The technologies used in utilizing renewable energy make very little waste. In fact, there is even a source of renewable energy, biomass, which utilizes waste products in generating power. This is a two faces the problems of energy supply and solution powered by waste disposal responds.
4. conservation of natural resources. Less dependence on fossil fuels also means there would be less need to strip-mine wide areas of Coal and oil sands. There will no longer be oil stains that pollute the seas and killing of birds and marine life.
So viable as alternative energy sources, it would still take some time before the world can be weaned from the dependence on fossil fuels. For the time being, while the infrastructure for renewable energy sources are built, the most we can do to help prevent the energy crisis is to reduce the total energy needs.
Energy saving is something that everyone can participate. This can be as simple as the restriction of the use of cars and take public transportation, riding bikes, or walk instead. It would be something that comes naturally as opening windows to let fresh air instead of using the air conditioning unit or turn off the lights that are not used.
It is also about use of alternative energy sources, such as hydrogen to run cars.

Energia hidroelectric: in search of less ecological impact
One of the oldest forms of energy is hydroelectric. Its use has been documented for centuries and is one of the most common forms of renewable energy. So common is its implementation in this regard, for example in EE.UU., the renewable energy sector gets hydropower 49% of its total production.
To qualify for hydroelectric power, require large amounts of water that fall, so the pressure exerted by water triggers the operation of turbines which - in turn - produce electricity..
Hydroelectric energy It is especially suitable for those areas that have very large amounts of water availability. Today, it constitutes 21 per cent of renewable energysources. Conventional hydropower generation methods require the use of dams which act as reservoirs of water to move the turbines and generators.
While the force of the water gives us an alternative more environmentally friendly than fossil fuels, the dams are expensive to build and generate a significant impact on the environment. Change the course of the rivers may involve diverting the water from which many people depend on for drinking, irrigation of crops, livestock, etc. This also implies flood large tracts of land (with their fields, natural habitats and even villages). And of course they also pose a risk to the ecosystem and the survival of fish and other aquatic animals.
To show all these points only enough with some examples. In our blogs we have on previous occasions brought news about the issues surrounding the construction of you dams or reservoirs. One of them, who took a certain international significance is the from the Belo Monte damin Brazil, where local Aboriginal groups were in a legal battle trying to preserve its ecosystem and natural resources on which they depend for their livelihood.
And without going so far in search of our example, not too long ago I contábamos the controversy raised here same in Spain before the adoption of the construction of the Reservoir Biscarrués and complaints from environmentalists groups regarding its impact on vast areas of great ecological value, many of them belonging to the Natura 2000 network.
Having said all that, it is now time to know what are the alternatives proposed to these problems.
In view of the many dangers that large reservoirs of water intended for the hydropower can pose, there is one growing urgency to get the same energy, but without the construction of dams. Fortunately, this urgency has given rise to attractive concepts that could well point to the abandonment of the construction of dams in the future.
Of these new alternatives of Hydroelectric energy without dams I discussed in detail in our next article where we will see what are the most promising projects in search of a sustainable hydropower.

Energy Bag: Energy accumulated under the sea wind turbines
The developer of this technology is the thin Red line aerospaceCanadian company. energy bag device is immersed approximately 600 meters deep, still connected to the turbines wind that filled with air this big globe. At these depths the pressure is 60 or 70 times higher than the air, the energy bag works in fact as a tank of compressed air. So the energy that can contain is great really: 600 m of depth, a bag of 20 meters in diameter can accumulate the 70MW hours of energy equivalent (what is generated with 14 hours of the turbine wind-generation more powerfulNavy in operation).
The accumulated energy is available to be released into generators when necessary. It could thus make up for the intermittent wind moments or meet the demand at peak times.

FOOW Eco Rider
In addition to the concepts of cars from small, thinking more than anything in the future where search decompress and decongest the major roads, we have before us the foow Eco rider, an idea for other creative and with a quite futuristic design.
To add a more space-saving, the rear of this vehicle, which forms a kind of fin, can be lifted to a vertical position, which would allow a driver to go comfortably and standing, in addition to avoiding the problems to find a place where to park.
Inside there is only room for an occupant, and we can see in their design that his windshield, surrounding all their periphery, little shows in this regard.
Three wheels, a rather dark and striking design, and the idea of not only save fuel, but also take advantage to the maximum extent possible the available space.

Wood biomass, source of biofuel and chemical
The project run by the Aalto University is part of the Tekes BioRefineprogram. TEKES is the Finnish Agency for technology and innovation funding. The Biorefine program is developing new competencies based on the strengths of national and the refinement of the biomass-related.
The overall objective of the project is to increase the value of refining of forest residues that can not be used in, for example, the process of the paper pulp. The investigation has been developed by Aadrian van Heiningen and Granström Tom teachers and researchers of Aalto University.
It Butanol is particularly suitable as a fuel for transport because it is not soluble in water and has higher energy content than ethanol. The raw materials most commonly used in the production of butanol have so far been starch and sugar cane.
In contrast to this, the starting point in the study of Aalto University was used only lignocelulosa (also called wood biomass), which does not compete with food production.
Wood biomass It is made up of three main substances: hemicelulosas, cellulose and lignin. Of these three, the cellulose and the hemicellulose can be used as a source of nutrition for microbes in bioprocesses.
During the process that is currently used in the manufacture of cellulose pulp is produced a substance with aspect of black liquor, which can be used as a source of energy. However, this substance is not conducive to microbes.
In the study we present, the pulp manufacturing process altered succeeding - in addition to cellulose- other sugars also remain unharmed. Making so it can be used as raw material to work with microbes.
Wood biomass It is boiled in a mixture of water, alcohol and sulfur dioxide, all parts of the wood - cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin - are separated into clean fractions.
The pulp can be used then to make paper, nanocelulosa or other products. While the hemicellulose is a very efficient raw material for the use of microbes with various applications in the production of chemicals. The big advantage of this new process is that there is no parts of the wood are wasted sugar.
According to the EUrequirements, all fuel must contain 10 percent of biofuels by 2020.
A clear benefit of butanol is that a significantly large percentage - more than 20 percent of butanol - can be added to the fuel to improve it, and without having to make any change in existing combustion engines.
Emissions of nitrogen and carbon from a mixture of fuel with more than 20 per cent butanol are significantly less than fossil fuels.

Collected Rainwater a Renewable Resource
As water is a renewable resource collection of rainwater is a technique for conserving water and divert it to a deposit of underground water.
In this article will show you different systems of rainwater catchment which - though perhaps not the most effective--are among the designs more creative and functional with the look of our House. After all, do not have why to contradict the use of natural resources with the decor!
Watree, play on words between water (water) and tree (tree), looks like an umbrella when it is given back. With its vast expanse encompasses a significant amount of space (and works well as a large glass). Watree can be very beneficial when it comes to saving water.
It was designed by Australian designer, Chris Buerckner. It can be placed anywhere in the garden, parks playgrounds or patios. In addition to protect from rain and provide it shadow, Watree collect the rain drops and transferred them to storage tanks, which may be located in different places, the convenience.
For all those homeowners ecological, rain water catchment is always a major concern. And CIST collect rainwater has never been as easy or as elegant before. The idea of a respectful environment construction can spoil the appearance of your home, is already obsolete. CISTA changed everything.
This system is mainly for people who live in urban areas. This creative collection of rain water system was designed by the team of Fig Forty and MOSS SUND Architect. According to them, CISTA can get up to 100 gallons of rainwater (equivalent to about 378 liters).
In addition, does not occupy much space, is located very conveniently on one of the outer walls of the House and is made of stainless steel, but it can be covered with a vine to improve its appearance and make it more "green", itself. In the near future, would be definitely a part of every green home.
Waterwall makes rainwater collection safe and easy. Waterwall - translated, wall of water - are as their name implies, walls that function as a reservoir for water storage, this being its primary role. But can also be used for harvesting rainwater.
The main component of the wall is the water tank. They are generally more bulky than normal tanks. Despite its size, can provide you an excellent capacity of about 2500 litres.
The material component is high density polyethylene stabilised against ultraviolet rays which does not allow the growth of algae in the water tank.
During the season of rains, large amounts of water can be collected and stored in tanks for a long period of time without any kind of formation of algae.

Contamination of soil
Then has rowing a brief overview of what is about this theme, and the key elements in order to understand not only why are applied measures of protection and sanitation, but also the consequences of not complying with them reliably.
There are two fundamental types which in generated thus detrimental to our support no matter the damage caused by each component or its physico-chemical properties, they are generally classified according to their origin:
Natural contamination: attributed to phenomena relating to the structure of the same or endogenous factors, natural. For example, is caused by the eruption of a volcano, which has been found to cause the same pollutant factor that several power plants that consume fossil fuels to operate at the same time. Pollution from human activities: in this case, the contamination of soil is purely and exclusively by the intervention of man, using pesticides in agriculture, through the lack of control and the underground tanksruptures, or landfill in poor condition or that they have not been verified, among other causes.
There are a myriad of damages caused by the bad state of the soil or lack of control over it, among which there is a great risk to human health, either directly to the contact with the toxic, or indirectly, where the same transport affects a tributary of drinking water or vegetable consumption.
When the permissible level of pollutants exceeds the tolerable, and will reach a critical level, it seriously affects the balance of the ground, with the presence of toxic substances for all organisms that live there, and causing a gradual loss of soil productivity (i.e., the ability to host life, necessary for the you planting and harvest)

Using Alternative Energy Extracted From the Oceans
The OTEC association, standing for the conversion of ocean thermal energy, was founded by French engineer called Jacques D'Arsonval back in 1881. The only remaining plant that is still a member of the OTEC is based in Hawaii and represented a natural energy laboratory. OTEC represents a source that can produce alternative energy which is currently, however, underrated and unexploited.
The thing that stands in the way of the popularization of the OTEC is that it costs too much at this point for many to afford it. It is thus difficult, to keep costs down to some level because processes affected the OTEC, rendering inefficient. Thermal energy derived from the ocean needs to be cleansed and treated of any remains and then it can be utilized in the air. It is also fairly important that the water coming from the oceans is not polluted, since otherwise, you would risk to fail completely in the transformation. Therefore, one needs to pay careful attention when utilizing the OTEC at any point.
To begin with, you should know that there are three types of OTEC.
The first one is Closed Cycle OTEC which uses a liquid with low boiling points; one such liquid is propane which is an intermediate fluid. OTEC plants pump water which is warm into reaction chambers which boil the water and use the intermediate fluid you have already chosen. This means that the vapor pushes the turbine into the engine and generates electricity. As a consequence, the vapor is cooled and then is used into cold water coming from the sea.
The second types is the Open Cycle OTEC, which does not differ from the closed method to a large extent. In here, you use no intermediate fluid and you use the sea water to drive the engine across. In this format, the sea water that is located on the surface ocean becomes transformed in low pressure vapors, under the action of a vacuum. Then, the vapor that was produced, which is , keep in mind, low pressure, is released in another container and it thus located in that it is capable to power the turbine. Then, you need to cool the vapor and also, to produce water with no remnants of salt from the ocean in it. After you do that, the water coming from the deeper parts of the ocean will be added to vapors, and then it becomes capable to generate electricity.
The last technique is called "Hybrid Cycle", but this technique is for the moment, not implemented. It describes an optimal approach you could use thermal energy at the maximum from the waters of the ocean. There exist two theories concerning the hybrid cycling. As a consequence, the first means using the closed cycling operation to generate electricity. Thus, the amount of electricity is then used to establish the cleaning environment that you will need for open cycling. Therefore, the electricity that you produce this way will be used to integrate the open cycling together. You then produce double the amount of water that was desalinated.
Besides the fact of using OTEC to produce electricity, the plant with OTEC has a closed cycle, which can be utilized to treat chemicals. The OTEC plants, are capable of pumping cold water coming from the sea and then use it for further purposes : refrigeration or air conditioning. While under moderation in which the sea water surrounds the plant, what you obtain from the process can be reused in aquaculture crops, for instance in fish farming.
If you know how to exploit the opportunities you have, you will find that there are numerous uses to the services and the products derived from this alternative to energy production.

Three alternative energy solutions for homes
Wind Energy
Wind energy is created by using a turbine on a high tower of the wind to kinetic electricity. A wind powered generator, 50 to 90% of an electricity bill can save and 1.2 tonnes of air pollutants and greenhouse gases that would have been created by an electric company 200 tonnes can compensate. They have very few moving parts, can quite easily be installed and when your turbine produces more electricity than your home needs, the electric company is legally obliged to buy from you or the excess can be stored in batteries for later use in your home.
The cost for a generator can be quite steep, though. A small turbine can the cost of $ 6000 to $ 22,000, including installation. The costs can be paid by the Government incentives and subsidies for those using and installing of "green" forms of electricity, and the operational costs for a wind powered generator is basically nothing at all. A turbine can be retro fitted to your home's electrical system, so there is no rewiring that needs to be done for this alternative energy solution.
Solar-energy
Solar energy is created by sunlight into electricity using cells made of silicon, which, when exposed to sunlight, creates an electrical charge. This process is called photovoltaics.
Solar home kits can be a maximum of $ 10,000 or more, depending on your energy needs costs. Solar discount programs or tax credits can help offset these costs. For example, the California Energy Commission has reserved $ 3.2 billion for the financing of solar projects in California. The money is distributed through cooperation with utilities and companies can get an automatic 30% Federal tax credit for the use of this alternative energy solution. And, just as when use of wind energy, if you produce more electricity than you need, you can sell to your electric company.
Hydropower
If you are fortunate enough to be a source of running water near your home, such as a river, stream, or brook, then hydropower possible an alternative energy solution worth in.Hydropower is formed by small water generators micro-hydro turbines that have been set up in the flow of the water drawn. These turbines can produce non-stop power no matter what the weather is like, unlike solar or wind powered alternative energy solutions.
It is also the cheapest alternative. A House turbine system can be as little as $ 1,000 to $ 3,000 dollar costs.

The Renewable Energy of Your Breath!
Like other flagrant imagination devices, air is showing great potential. It is a mask that converts the energy of the wind into electricity. The carrier should only adjust the mask and breathe normally. Only in this way, the electricity generated is sufficient for recharging small electronic devices. And it has in its favour to be used in virtually any situation, indoors or outdoors.
The gadgets are modern man's new best friends. Generally speaking, a person has more than one electronic device that performs specific functions or others that have numerous uses in their daily lives. But despite how useful that they can become this almost infinite number of devices, is an undeniable fact that consume much electricity.
You guys know you well, users of gadgets need every day ensure that the energy bar lines are complete to make the device work properly and the time needed before daring to leave the House with him, otherwise is essential to load them.
ERGO, to the extent that these electronic devices are mostly driven?by non-renewable energy, as a whole represents a significant burden on our energy resources.
Daily human activities are likely to be used for the production of energy, for example, riding a bike, running at the gym or simply give a footprint. So you can give energy to that same MP3 player thanks to which we can listen to our favorite music while we do this.
This type of alternative energy (like any other renewable) will help to reduce pollution, save resources and reduce the impact of man on the environment.
Air... or how to convert your breath into electricity
Air is an optimal solution to solve some of our needs in the field of energy. The mask , which you can see in the pictures that accompany this article - is a design that still at the stage of "concept". It is an electronic device capable of converting the breathing of the user, which is actually wind energyinto electrical energy.
The mask has been equipped with tiny wind turbines that are responsible for this conversion. Then, through a cable that is connected to the mask, transfers the energy generated to storage that is connected at the other end device.
Air is fully functional both indoors and outdoors, when you are asleep or awake, walking or running, etc. In addition, the device generates physical activity, because so you can speed up the batteries charging.
Though it seems be something massively people would be ready to use now, must be recognized that it is a simple, creative and efficient way to get energy free, available any day and at any time.
