Photovoltaic Solar Energy

It is increasingly common to see solar panels on the field, especially in sunny areas and begin to appear in homes, but We know it works? Renewables now try to show what lies beneath.

The photovoltaic solar energy is a type of renewable energy that comes from the sun's rays to produce electricity through the photovoltaic effect that is often used for different purposes such as appliances, isolated houses or go directly to distribution networks.

The two main applications given on photovoltaic solar energy is directed to:

Photovoltaic solar energy directed at isolated installations the power grid is composed of solar panels that capture solar rays, and this energy is stored in batteries. This allows us to enjoy electricity in places that sometimes are inaccessible to the network such as mountain huts, lighting, cottages, etc..

On the opposite side are photovoltaic systems connected to the network consisting of the same process for the production of energy with the difference of application, in which it is sent to the electricity grid.

Did you know that electric distribution companies in Spain are obliged by law to purchase the energy produced by solar power?

The photovoltaic power plants are one of our options when it comes to enhance and increase the consumption of solar energy to proliferate ever more strongly renewable energy.

It's about time that both the utilities and the general public begins to see solar energy not only as a possibility that now seems out of reach financially but as a cost-effective long-term goals and issues such as environment, economy and quality of life.
