Photovoltaic chemotherapy medicine

As many know, the most commonly used for diseases autoimmune type and more than anything else in cancer, treatment is chemotherapy, but of course, has its negative side relating mainly the hair loss, passing by nausea, vomiting, and even loss of appetite, as a result of the toxic treatment effect.

A group of students from the University of Texas at El Paso (United States) is working on a modification to the treatment of chemotherapy that employs a renewable source of energy, improving the living conditions of those who suffer from cancer and significantly reducing toxic levels.

Today, the chemotherapy drugs are entered into the bloodstream where they travel by different bodies until finally contact with the target being patients systematically with side effects mentioned above, usually caused by not being able to "sharpen" these drugs to the tumour tissue.

This project, currently in phase of analysis, uses small photovoltaic panels that will allow free drugs only into the tumour, tissue contact activating using an infrared light or laser, which are able to traverse tissues in a depth of up to 10 centimeters.

Taken from a renewable energy source, this amendment will change the treatment of chemotherapy and it significantly the negative effects of treatment, so expect a full success in its development (currently in testing phase)

Nickel in photovoltaic cells reducira cost of solar energy

One of the most promising technologies in search of cheaper solar energy production is being studied by scientists of the University of Toronto (Canada).

And addition, it is expected that this reduction in the cost remains reasonable efficiency photovoltaic cells.

Recently published studies have proven that nickel - a material of low-cost - you can replace the use of gold in certain components of the photovoltaic cells. This change of raw materials would reduce the price cells between 40-80%.

On the application of nanotechnology, has been that the full spectrum of sunlight (visible light and infrared light) in the production of energy can be utilized. This improves performance of solar cells based on components of silicones, since part of the light spectrum is not seized with such technologies.

The team of scientists has reached in initial testing an increase of effectiveness of 5 per cent, and expect reach 10 per cent the commercial launch of this new technology.

The promising results just published were part of an arduous process of research.According to relate some members of the team of research of the University of Toronto, his initial hypothesis that nickel could serve to such processes failed to start.Material nickel blocked the normal flow of current, but then dilucidaron that the incorporation of a nanometer lithium fluoride created a barrier that blocked the original reaction to the expected result.

Photovoltaic solar energy at home

Our House can be a good location to use solar energy, and with it not only save electricity and money, but also take care of the environment with this clean renewable energy.

The roof or roof are ideal places, since they tend to be in constant contact with sunlight, and you can connect with the general power grid to be able to pay off the price of photovoltaic panels to be purchased, and are often quite expensive.

The first thing we must do is determine the space that we can use for the installation. If the space is small, take more in note monetary gain, but the investment is much lower, while we cover the largest possible space will meet a higher initial investment, but that will take less time to settle it.

Before making the investment, it is advisable to consult with the municipality to get economic aid if any, as are banks, which have been showing increasingly more interest as renewable energy, granting credits and loans.

Even many energy companies are available to perform the installation of solar energy equipment themselves, saving an additional expense.

Photovoltaic And Wind Energy

It is known that in areas where there is Sun the wind is not commonplace, and where there are many strong winds, the sun behind the grey clouds, so it is impossible to rely on a single type of renewable energy, giving rise to the renewable energy hybrid, as for example the solar energy photovoltaic -wind.

Combining the best of both, the energy photovoltaic-wind energy can meet the energy needs much more easily, and getting a peak production when both are available at the same time.

This makes it ideal to take renewable domestic energy sources, although as it was to be expected, it is an important initial investment, so figure out budgets is essential.

Photovoltaic Conversion Process.

We have already given unto a first part of this report talking about the photovoltaic solar energy. Now is the turn to see in detail what is the process of photovoltaic conversion that we had briefly mentioned in our previous article. Photovoltaic conversion (FV) or photovoltaic conversion process is the process where the sunlight is converted into electricity using photovoltaic cells.

This process was discovered and proved by the French scientist Edmond Becquerel in 1839. While experiencing noted that certain materials when they were exposed to sunlight generated a difference of potential; and connecting to an external load produced current electric. They called this physical phenomenon "photovoltaic effect".Other scientists as Heinrich Hertz also investigated this topic important progress, but it should spend a long time until this discovery could be implemented in the production of solar energy generating devices.

Let's see what is happening to that solar energy is transformed into electricity using photovoltaic conversion (photoelectric effect). To illuminate a material determined with electromagnetic radiation (usually light ultraviolet or visible), the emission of electrons occurs. This is what happens when solar radiation enters the photocell: emit electrons of the atoms and begin to circulate through the material.Measure the voltage at the two ends of the material, sees a difference of approximately 0.5 to 0.6 Volt has generated.

Photovoltaic solar energy

From Erenovable seek every day bring our readers the latest news on developments in the production of solar energy. It seemed to us a good idea review some basic concepts related to this theme: photovoltaic solar energy, Photovoltaic panels, solar photovoltaic cells process photovoltaic conversion.

We'll start by reviewing the concept of energy photovoltaic solar. This is based on the principle that the energy contained in the particles of light (photons) can be converted into electricity. This is achieved through the so-called photovoltaic conversion process, which we will try later.

Broadly speaking, what happens is that, through the use of a device specially designed for this purpose, gets electricity thanks to the photoelectric effect of sunlight. Generally these devices consist of a semiconductor metal sheet that is named photovoltaic cell.Another variant is a certain metals on a substrate or thin film deposition. Has recently been found also great advances in the development of organic devices.
As a result of this photovoltaic conversion process Gets energy at low tension (between 800 and 380 V), and DC.Then uses an investor to transform it into alternating current.

Photovoltaic energy

Son the future of renewable energy, already not dependent on fuel and permit Sin sustainable development too much maintenance and radii of the different types of energy, photovoltaic solar energy is inside of the most used, thanks a its effectiveness and availability.

This type of solar energy to produce electricity and directly obtained from the Sun's rays by using solar panels react to light and heat (photoelectric effect). This electrical energy produced LUEGO is stored in batteries to be able to power a self-employed in Oct, shelters, isolated houses where electrical electricity isn't, boats or even for distribution networks.

A great advantage of this energy is made once the investment starting there is almost no maintenance and begins an amortized immediately, you are doing little by little have increasingly more households opt for installing solar panels on rooftops to begin a benefit from this green energy not forgetting.

energia_solar_fotovoltaica

Having the advantage of a resource as accessible as the sunlight solar panels can be installed almost anywhere in the world to provide a stable supply of energy is making it increasingly develop more technologies to use photovoltaic solar energy in all types of vehicles and Oct technology everyday, like mobile phone Chargers, or even in the aviation industry.

The cost of solar panels will gradually reducing and emerging new technologies increase significantly its performance, making energy solar becomes gradually in the energy management most used around the world Pope.
